New Zealand needs a clear set of rules and guidelines in which governments can work, a framework, a NZ Constitution.
We don't have that at present resulting in minorities pulling and pushing boundaries which only exist in historical thinking but often not based on facts.
We need a sound foundation based on facts, not emotion, (emotion does have a place but not here) from which we can work, we don't have that at present.
We can only look back when we want to learn from factual history, we can not go back and address wrongdoings which happened centuries ago to people who do not exist and by done by people who do not exist anymore either, let's go forward and be humane and clever.
I like to suggest the creation of a sound and fair NZ Constitution where there is only one race, the human race, where there is a sound direction towards sustainability without destroying our financial survival, where we do away with racism, sexism, where we have clear guidelines in social policies and infrastructure which can not be altered at random by different parties.
There will always be people, groups etc. with different views and opinions but we need a structured approach as our time to do so is running out.
I am sorry for being late but I didn't get to this Visionweek in time.
